I finally joined Facebook...I wasn't sure if I needed something else to keep me at the computer but I finally gave in. I actually like it! Rainy Day

It's raining today! Shannon and I were just talking about how we wanted it to rain....its such a nice change and theres something about mountain rain that is just wonderful. I love it. Now is the time I wish I had a fireplace. Anyway, since it is a rainy day the girls are just hangin out on the bunkbed playing Wii.

Well, that didnt last too long...here they are enjoying the rain!

Fresno trip

This morning we headed off to Fresno to do some grocery shopping.

It was actually a pretty good trip. We timed it just right so Chloe would nap on the way down and it worked out that she slept on the way home too! So nice....

We went to Sears first to get an oilchange and ended up having to wait for 3hours! Thankfully Sears is attached to a mall so we were able to walk around. Now that I think about it, I think this happened to us last time too. Hmmm.

After our big Costco trip we went to In and Out. We all thought of you Grandpa!

Chloe had her first cheeseburger...she loved it and almost ate the whole thing.

While we waited for an oilchange Brian, Megan and Abby got haircuts. Megan wanted bangs! The last time she had bangs was when she was 4, so it tugged on our hearts a little bit to see her with them again :)

Meg and Abby went over to Jack and Hanks house afterschool today and apparently had a great time....in the mud. Shannon warned me that they were playing in the dirt so I wasn' too surprised. Abbys really wearing white socks :)

Attention grabber...

For those of you that know me well....you understand how much I LOVE being the center of attention. So, you won't be surprised on how thrilled I was when I fell thru this lovely sun weathered lawn chiar in front of everyone at the school soccer game. It was great. I'm sure my face was just hot and not bright red.

Fire near camp

Just a quick post...
There is a fire very close to camp. It is going south but they have pulled a lot of the men out of work here at camp to go out there with shovels. Please be praying for Brian and the rest of the crew. Forestry is out here along with our fire dept. It seems like they are getting it under control. Just be praying!

Grandma Susie & Charlie

What a great visit we're having...Brian took Monday off so he could hang out with them.

We didn't do much yesterday but I think they just wanted to play with the kids anyway.

Well, Grandma Susie and Charlie came to visit and I forgot to get a picutre of them getting greeted by the girls. Darn...I'm sure it would of been cute. I will make sure to post pictures of our visit soon though.

Abby and I had the following conversation heading into the grocery store last night:

Abby: I know what your favorite game is dad.

Me: Oh yeah whats that?

Abby: Football!

Me: Right!

Abby: But...I don't know if your any good at it or not because I've never seen you play. You just like watch it and stuff.

Preschool!

Abbys 1st day of preschool! She was so very excited. The highlight of the whole first day thing is the bus ride there. Heres a few pictures to share with you...

Chloe has been doing this all week. She grabs the booster seat, puts it on top of the couch in the guest bedroom, climbs up then sits on it to watch her shows.

Sausage themed Elf Party comin' up!

We planned on going to the dining hall after the soccer game tonight, but by the time we got there they were cleaning up. So, we were forced to come up with a quick meal. We decided on scrambled eggs and bacon. But we had no bacon. So, Brian suggested that he go to the kitchen and buy some from there. (You can grab items there and then write it down in the book. They take it out of your check.)

He came home with this...

A 10lb box of sausage. I thought he was kidding when he announced it coming through the door. We might have a few monthly payments on our sausage but I must admit that Brian is in HEAVEN....

Uncle Mikey

This one is for my brothers amusement.

On the end of one of Chloes video, this guys sings. Chloe is scared of him. I told her "Its okay Chloe...hes just a puppet...plus he kinda looks like Uncle Mikey." Ha Ha.

Abby said.."Ummm...yeah! Except Uncle Mikey doesn't wear those glasses."

Soccer pics

Abby did well yesterday...During the first half, someone fell on the back of Abbys leg. Ouch. She said she didnt want to play anymore EVER...but Brian eventually talked her into going in. We were really proud of her for trying again. Later she told Brian she was tired and didnt want to play anymore but he mentioned 'okay... but no rice crispie treat at the end of the game then..." She played with full energy after that realization. lol

Brian and I were a little nervous about Megan playing on the 3rd thru 5th grade team just because she is so small. But it doesnt bother her one bit. She just goes for it. I love it!

Happy 3rd Birthday to Lily...

Today Abby went to Lily's 3rd Birthday party! She had fun but enjoyed a cupcake to quickly I think. She scared me by crying that her chest hurt and asked to go home. I gave her some pepto and she seems to be fine now, but on the way home I was about to go to the nurse! I guess I had no idea kids could get indigestion...
