We went to the pool today! Other than Chloe jumping in the pool without her floaties and me frantically jumping in after her, we had a great time!

My oh my. I found this recipe on food network. Had 150 ratings all at 5 stars. So naturally I had to try it. I made it last night for a friends birthday...from scratch I might add ; )
Have you ever wondered how much butter is in BUTTERcream frosting??? Well, keep wondering because you don't want to know.

#9 good friends

Megan will be going to Wagon Train camp this Sunday...for a week! She is beyond thrilled...and I am so excited for her. Here is some of her buddies that will be going too!

#8-sewing.

I don't have any cute pictures of the girls from today. Sorry...

But wait! Don't leave yet! I don't think I have shown you all some of my pillows I made! My friend, Sarah is teaching me how to sew... my first project was the couch pillows.




I bought some burlap and a sharpie and wah lah! New pillows :) I am so proud of these puppies....I never thought I'd learn how to sew.

#5 the water source

Brian took the girls on a hike up to the water source that feeds the lake a couple of days ago. Kinda fuzzy but such a sweet picture!

#4 - Bachelor Pad.

Welcome to, what I like to call my bachelor pad...aka our bedroom. We couldn't fit our massive 52 inch monster of a tv in our living room, so it sits ON TOP of our dresser at the foot of our bed. Our whole room glows at night. Brian is in heaven. I am waiting ever so patiently for it to die. :)

But enough of that! Just wanted to share #4 of our picture a day.....
We just got Abby the game "My Zoo" on the Wii. She has been playing it all day...in hopes that her panda has a baby. :)

Day 3 -bunkbed happiness

Megan is sleeping in Abbs and Chloes room tonight. So they switched it up a bit and let Chloe sleep on the top bunk. She thinks this is the greatest thing EVER!

Day 2- trampoline fun

Our sweet neighbors got a trampoline and they invited the girls to play on it. Yippee!

The weather may not be able to make up its mind, but that doesn't faze the girls! They have been enjoying their summer already by playing outside...frog hunting, salamander and animal print finding and rock jumping!
