This picture is kinda fuzzy. I still haven't figured out how to take good pictures inside without using the flash. Anyhoo, Chloe is learning how to use the computer....it's very cute to watch.

I haven't figured that out yet either. I also have a hard time with the light outside around 4-5 pm. I just ordered a library book on photography! Hope it helps!
Higher ISO, wide open aperture and faster shutter speed. You have to have a lens that can accommodate a wide aperture (a smaller number - indoor during the day requires about a 2.2 or lower), a camera that does well when you bump up the ISO (some cameras get noisy)... but, I gotta tell you, it is AWESOME when you master it. I love natural light photography!
