The busy month of May!

This month went by so fast!

First off, Abby has conquered sucking her thumb and is even sleeping without her beloved blankey! We felt it was time and she was willing, so we got the bitter stuff to put on her thumb and it was really simple. We were surprised! After a couple of nights of not sucking her thumb, she felt she was ready to put her blankey on the shelf. We are really proud of her. We promised a guinea pig for her reward. So here she is with sweet 'patches' at show and tell along with Mrs Kunz. One of her great teachers.



Brian has been restaining Cedar Hall, and it is turning out beautiful! Here he is working away....

Most of you heard about my horrible time waking up to 2 drowned mice in my blender. Yuck. SO here is my sweet husband lovingly going under the house to see if there is any cracks that needed to be sealed up. He is sooo excited.




End of the year Awards ceremony! Friday was there last day of school. They did great. Megan received the principals honor roll with a 4.0 and Abby did wonderful too with All E's and one G+ :)

This last Thursday was the girls ballet recital. Man, I have some cute girls! They did great, I can't wait til next year! Heres a short clip of Abby and Chloe during the practice right before the recital. They are in the front middle. Chloe is by herself at first :)

Lets see. We've been having fun the past couple weeks with the weather been so beautiful!

Chloe and I thought we would go feed the ducks yesterday. She was just thrilled. There ended up being one duck. So we fed him. a lot. :)

More fishing with Dad! I think we caught one this time...but it was right after the fishermens conference. So, we telling ourselves that is why we stunk ;)

Jog a thon. The girls did amazing. They are such hard workers! I love it. Megan ran 34 laps. Abby 33 laps. That is 4 miles. Four!!! Oh and Chloe ran 4 laps :) Thank you to all of you that contributed. Our little school appreciates it!

Megan 11th Birthday!

We just got home from Staff retreat/vacation last night..so we are just relaxing today. But its no regular day! It's Megans 11th birthday! Man, we just are so thankful for her. She is such a blessing in our family and she really does amaze us. She has such a heart for Jesus and wants to please Him continually. What an example for me! She's usually the peacemaker in the family and always the one to say sorry first. We are grateful that the Lord has put her in our family and pray that she, along with her sisters, cling to Jesus, stand up for truth and love others all their days....and Megan is definitely on that road. Praise Jesus!

Megan wanted to re-do her room this birthday. So on the way home from Staff Retreat, we picked up all the things she wanted.

The girls waiting for dinner last night. And yes that is snow outside. again. Weird day yesterday, it was FREEZING and hailed and snowed off and on.

Chloe's 4th birthday!

Yesterday was Chloe's 4th birthday:) We cannot believe our baby is 4! We're so thankful for her. She brings so much laughter to this house!

We didn't have a party this year, just hung out as a family.


First things first! Gotta open all her presents! She wore that beanie for majority of the day yesterday, we have no idea why(maybe she wanted a birthday hat on?), but it was funny to us because she used to walk around the house all the time with a beanie on when she was around a year old.
